# Fare — small, exact APIs

Fare is one key, one bill and one set of docs for a growing set of focused APIs, built for developers and AI agents. Failed calls are never billed.

## APIs

- **PDF/UA validator** — `POST https://api.fare.dev/v1/pdf/validate`. Send a PDF, get every PDF/UA-1 or PDF/UA-2 failure with its rule ID. Our own Rust engine passes all 435 files of the open veraPDF PDF/UA test corpus.
- **PDF/UA remediator** — `POST https://api.fare.dev/v1/pdf/remediate`. Send a PDF, get it back tagged and repaired for PDF/UA-1, with a report of every fix and what still needs a person (such as alt text). Drawing is never changed.
- **Email-security grade** — `GET https://api.fare.dev/v1/email-grade?domain=example.com`. A–F grade for SPF, DKIM and DMARC with fixes.

## Pricing

Private beta. Beta keys include 500 successful calls a month at no cost. Paid plans will be metered per call; only successful calls count.
